Upholstered furniture is all around us, helping to create beautiful spaces and shaping the ambience and atmosphere of a room. With a huge array of fabrics in all textures and colours, upholstered furniture can exude understated elegance or provide a dramatic focal point.

The upholstery process is entirely bespoke. No two pieces of furniture are the same, and it takes time, care and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of craftsmanship. Following a career in music publishing I retrained in upholstery at the East London Furniture Institute (formerly part of London Metropolitan University) where my work won the Margaret Johnson Memorial Prize and a prize in the Intermediate Upholstery Skills Award category from the Worshipful Company of Upholders.

I am trained in both modern and traditional upholstery, meaning that whatever the age of your furniture, I have the knowledge and skills to get it looking its best.

Based at my home studio in Richmond-upon-Thames, I take commissions from across south-west London, Surrey and the home counties. Do get in touch if you have a project you wish to discuss.
